Evangelist Barbara Maddox is a licensed and ordained minister and has been in the ministry for over 30 years. In that time she served as pastor for two churches and associate pastor for one, as well as traveling as a missionary-evangelist.
Barbara had her own radio show from the age of twelve and stayed in the media of radio for much of her adult life in positions as broadcaster personality, public relations and sales representative. When the Lord called her into fulltime ministry she eventually gave up her career in radio.
Barbara's call into the ministry has been extensive in the United States as well as taking her into Canada, Pakistan, Ukraine, Central America, Guyana, Great Britain, Argentina, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and numerous other countries. She has made 28 trips to India.
She ministers in churches of all denominations, women's ministries, men's ministries, home groups, retreats, conferences, seminars, Women's Aglow Fellowship, civic clubs, men and women prisons. Recently Barbara began an additional ministry with Native Americans.
Barbara is a dynamic preacher as well as teacher. Her love of the Word of God and desire to see people saved and apply biblical principles to their life has been a blessing to many around the world. She is also gifted with a prophetic call and flows in numerous gifts of the Holy Spirit. She has written a study book on The Holy Spirit and His Gifts.
She and her husband, Don, reside in Humble, Texas, where he is the retired Chief of
Police of the Humble Independent School District. They are members of the
First Assembly of God Church there where she co-teaches an adult Sunday School
Class.
