HOW COULD YOU send your only Son to die for my sins?
I don’t know and I don’t understand, but I am so very grateful.
Knowing what sacrifice Jesus would have to make;
and knowing that your heart would break,
HOW COULD YOU?
The ridicule, the beatings, the agony of praying until His sweat became drops of
blood,
dragging the cruel cross on His shoulders until He fell beneath the load, the
three Roman nails that pierced His wrists and feet, the sword that pierced His
side and the crown of thorns that pierced His head, but worse than all that,
when He was nailed to the Cross, your turned your back on Him,
HOW COULD YOU?
Father God you did it ALL, so that we could have eternal life.
HOW CAN WE neglect so great a salvation?
