There is something special about hearing a person say "welcome" when we visit their home. I want to give you the biggest WELCOME you have ever received and tell you how happy I am to have you visit us on this website.
On the website you will find a brief biography of Barbara Maddox, information on the outreach from this ministry, a newsletter, photo albums of trips for the cause of the gospel of Jesus Christ, a little corner with interesting stories, poems, anecdotes, and just funny things that happen.
But to me this most important section to visit is THE WORD OF THE LORD MINI-SERIES. These are one page messages that touch all areas of life and will be of great help to you. I have written many of the messages but I am also privileged to have some guest writers who have shared wonderful messages as well. I do include some in-depth studies that you may want to use.
I have heard from many that I know, and been pleasantly surprised to hear from so many that I have not had the privilege to meet yet. Isn’t this modern age of communication great? I would like to share a scripture with you that will bless you if you will take hold of it. Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Now read it again and where it says "you" read your name there. YOU are important to God. He knows your name and has a destiny for your life. Come to Him that He might bring it to pass.
